Threads Launches Live Test of its API, Enabling Content Scheduling in Some Third Party Apps

Good news for social media managers, and a potentially significant update for Threads engagement overall, with Meta’s Twitter-like platform now live testing its API with selected partners, enabling, among other things, post scheduling in the app. As explained by Jesse Chen, an engineer working on Threads, the Threads team has now partnered with a range of third party platforms on the first stage of live testing for its API, which has been in development for the past few months. As per Chen: “The API currently enables users to authenticate, publish threads, and fetch the content they posted through these tools – and soon, we will enable reply moderation and insights capabilities. We are now testing with a small number of partners - Grabyo, Hootsuite, Social Newsdesk, Sprinklr, Sprout Social...

How to test emails before you send them

By Pam Neely July 12, 2022 Don’t lose subscribers because of errors in your emails! Here’s how to avoid cringe-worthy mistakes. Remember that cringe-worthy moment when Steve Harvey read the wrong name for the winner of Miss Universe? Don’t be like Steve. Avoid mistakes in front of a large audience by testing emails before you send them. This doesn’t take a lot of time – maybe five to 10 minutes. It will keep you from embarrassing yourself and annoying your subscribers. One bad experience can be enough to turn a subscriber away for good. But if you do accidentally pull a Steve Harvey and mess up? It happens. Don’t let the fear of making a mistake keep you from sending your emails. You can always send an apology email. The two most common types of email mark...

Split Test Subject Lines to Maximize Open Rates

By Kelly Forst April 20, 2021 Morning Brew reached 1,000,000 opens with this split testing strategy. Plus, learn how you can do it in AWeber. Stuck between two subject line ideas? It’s impossible to know which will yield the best results without running a split test — commonly called an A/B test. A split test gives you real feedback on which subject line your audience was more drawn to opening. This is how the most successful marketers optimize their open rates.  Take Morning Brew, for example. Morning Brew is a popular newsletter with more than 2.5 million subscribers. Their daily newsletter includes business and tech news of the day written for a business-minded millennial audience.  In August 2020, Morning Brew hit a major milestone — 1,000,000 opens of its...

The 7-Second Test: How to Make Your Homepage Actually Convert

You had your game plan. You were going to put together a homepage that turned visitors into customers. Those customers were going to become raving fans of your business. They would tell all of their friends, family, and colleagues about you. You would tell your grandkids about your business success and ride off into the sunset on a horse named ROAS. It was beautiful, except… it never was. Your homepage might still be in the construction zone or could be live, but it’s not getting you the results you’d hoped for. You know there’s a little (read: A LOT) wrong with it. You see the pageviews come in—where are the conversions? Traffic and conversion master, and CEO of DigitalMarketer, Ryan Deiss knows. In his DM Lab workshop on Crafting a High-Converting Homepage, Ryan breaks dow...

How to test chatbots in Rasa framework? | by Joanna Trojak | Feb, 2021

Chatbots are the new apps. They are the new interface users can interact with to get a particular service. Much like in the case of mobile applications, user experience and quality should be the main goal for developers. The variety of tools is not so abundant like in case of web and mobile interfaces and many developers think that testing conversations are the most difficult types of testing around. The main problem is that conversations are messy. We cannot force the user’s to follow the designed happy path we have created. The majority of chatbot platforms do not provide all the necessary tools required to improve the quality of the conversation. For instance in DialogFlow we can assess the quality of intents, in respect of them failing or succeeding in the conversation but that’s it. We ...

How to test your chatbot designs before release | by Vittorio Banfi | Dec, 2020

In this tutorial, I will show how you can perform a chatbot test without having to wait for the bot to be actually released. This feature is very useful to start grabbing real user feedback and see how real people will react to your bot. By prototyping early on, you will be able to adjust your design based on how users react to it — specifically, it’s important to discover:What do the users type when confronted by your design? What do users expect when using your chatbot? Are the utterances (training phrases) realistic and will they work? With the prototype feature, you can use the user test to inform your design decisions, as well as improving your training phrases. We also have released an AI-powered user testing — it allows you to leverage OpenAI GPT-3 to test your chatbot as if it was a hu...
