ChatGPT: The Technicalities behind the Rising Star of Conversational AI | by ximnet | Mar, 2023

As pioneers in adopting ChatGPT technology in Malaysia, XIMNET dives in to take a look how far back does Conversational AI go?Photo by Milad Fakurian on UnsplashConversational AI has been around for some time, and one of the noteworthy early breakthroughs was when ELIZA, the first chatbot, was constructed in 1966. How To Create A Star Rating System In WordPress With CSS and ACF

I recently had a request from a WordPress client for a star rating widget of sorts, so I thought I would share the solution I came up with using Advanced Custom Fields (ACF) and CSS. There are no images involved – just pure CSS plus Unicode stars and a handy range slider on the back end so the client can easily enter a rating anywhere from 0 to 5 in steps of 0.1. Thanks to a nice example I found on CodePen (seen below), the front end elements were easy and simple, utilizing CSS custom properties and variables in a compact code. Connecting this to ACF so the client could easily edit their ratings brought it all together in a quick solution that I have not seen elsewhere, thus the idea to make it available here in case anyone else is looking for something similar. Ready to dig in? UNLIMITED...

In the world of local SEO, there’s always something new to keep your eye out for that could be a game-changer. This week, that news is that star ratings are now appearing in review snippet on Google My Business listings. First time I’ve seen the star rating appear with the review snippet here pic.twitter.com/gXoP0mG7hn — Tom Waddington (@tomwaddington8) February 3, 2021 Spotted on Twitter by Tom Waddington on February 3rd, 2021, this change is yet another step from Google to bring online reviews front and center.  What’s new with Google review summaries? Previously, when a business’s Knowledge Panel was generated by a local search, Google would highlight potentially relevant keywords. For example, “great service” might be bolded for a restaurant. Star Wars: Squadron has introduced a new mod for its players. It now supports voice command through HCS voice-packs. This new mod has added a new life to this video game. Moreover, among the three voices available, one of the voices is of Michael Dorn, better known as the Klingon Worf from the Star Trek: The Next Generation show and films. The three voices, each costing around $13, fill in as the co-pilot for the player. While the game is on, the player can arrange the AI to alter focus on, deal with the motor frameworks of the ship, and request them to shoot their weapons, in any event, indicating which weapon to discharge by mentioning to the AI what the loadout for the ship is before starting the following level. Star Wars isn’t the main game that HCS Voicepacks has made voices for. As o...
