Our service provider that enables YouTube Imports is currently having an outage related to changes made by YouTube. Any url import from YouTube will fail due to this outage. Their expected timeline to fix is a few days. In the meantime, to import YouTube videos we recommend exporting them directly from YouTube or Google Takeout and then uploading those exports.

Issue with player causing videos to not play in certain cases – Incident details – Wistia

There was an issue that caused embeds with the big player button to not play from 9:29AM-10:24AM when an user clicked directly on the big player button to start video playback. Clicking anywhere outside the big player button would still allow playback to work as expected. We identified the issue, reverted the change, and verified that the bug was no longer present as of 10:24AM.

Some customizations are also not showing up in the application upon refreshing the page. These changes are being saved in our system, but there is a delay for those changes to show up. July 03, 2023 at 5:30 PMAs part of improving our security posture, we will be disabling the ability to connect to fast.wistia.com or fast.wistia.net using TLS 1.0/1.1 connections on July 3rd. These endpoints are used for loading video embed metadata required by our player to play videos embedded on webpages across the web. Most web browsers/operating systems/devices from 2014 forwards should be utilizing TLS 1.2/1.3 to connect and load Wistia embeds.
