Open source virtual assistant Almond to be renamed as Genie. The announcement of rebranding the virtual assistant Almond has been made earlier by Stanford University open virtual assistant lab. Now this new name completely matches with the virtual assistant’s conversational tech.To invent a complete alternative of Alexa, Google assistant, Dr Monica lam prepared a whole lab for open virtual assistant where they would create a virtual assistant that would store and share information according to the user’s preferences.
